Ranked A Local Search Term On Page 1.. What Should I Do Now?

Hi Guys,

I started experimenting with Offline Marketing after reading about it in a WSO. I managed to rank my site on page 1 for some competitive keywords for our local dentists. One of the sites is ranked #2 and the other site ranked #7.

I see a lot of Google Ads all around + Google Map Listings so I definitely know there are people who are promoting their clinics via Google. After checking out my "competitors", I realized many of them have hired their own SEO firms too to try to boost their rankings.

My question now is what I should do next. The WSO I have advocated selling Advertising Space on the page which sounds like a good idea to me. However, I want to hear your opinions on what my other options I can take to monetize my site.

    Have you contacted business owners asking them if they want to advertise on your site?

    The fact that your site is ranked number one is good but you need clients who will be willing to either take the site off you or advertise on your site.

    Hi There,

    I will be contacting them soon. I am flying off for a couple of days soon. Thanks for your advice. I specifically chose a niche that I knew was used to writing checks for advertising so it should be alright (I hope anyway!).
