Knowing if a company has a mobile website
I read that you can use a mobile emulator to see if someone has a website and then a mobile simulator to see how a website looks on a mobile.
I'm a little confused because I'm not certain how you would check if a mobile site exists because they are usually built on a subdomain like www.mobile.mywebsite.com or in folder like www.mywebsite.com/mobile.html. If you only know the main website URL, you would not find their mobile website.
Can anyone clarify exactly how this works? It's best to know ahead of time if a prospect has a mobile website rather than embarrassing yourself.
Also, how can I access an emulator?
Thanks!
