Google Adwords for research
For years now we have seen lots of products about showing how to use adwords to generate business but I have never seen anyone talk about how they should be used for research!
So say you have a adwords campaign about mobile websites and you enter a number of key phrases.
As the campaign progresses you will see certain key phrases getting more clicks than the others.
It is now you have some valuable research material and should develop some content to rank organically for these key phrases and then you can cancel the adword.
I am always amazed that people will continue to pay for these key phrases when their organic listing is right there beside it in the organic listing.
Once you have done one you can rinse and repeat. We do this for a lot of our customers with excellent results keeping the adword budget at a minimum yet getting lots of traffic using the results to develop high ranking organic content.
