Chamber of Commerce opportunity|Brainstorming Requested!

I had an appointment today with the President of the Chamber of Commerce in a small town where I live, they have 700 businesses as members. I proposed helping them set up and run some marketing outreach programs to help the business owners to help the business owner and give me access to the business to offer my marketing services.

*Can anyone suggest some ways I can reach out to the business owners knowing that the Chamber of Commerce is approving and announcing everything because they love the idea of attracting new members and retaining current members by offering these programs?

A small town with 700 C of C members Mike? Wow - What's considered a small town these days?
How big a crowd do you think your presentation will draw?

Btw: Nice presentation on your site - you already have authority positioning...
just ad a seminar opt-in and you're good to go (is it chamber members only?)

      Thanks
I think for presentations we could easily get 30 business owners to attend. I offered to set up a morning a month to sit with business owners 1-on-1 to give them a marketing consultation at no charge and the Chamber loves that.

      Thoughts?

        Hi Mike,
Is this a first for larger groups, or something you're used to...?
When you first said 700 members possible - I thought you were going to need roadies...

30 is a good "classroom" size, easy to control - Good for interaction...I thought you were going to say larger - who knows?, and the offer of 1 on 1 is a nice perk. - that much closer to the deal for sure.
Were you thinking of offering your book as well? - or keeping that for another day...
Does the chamber offer AV equip? will they assist? or are you on your own?

The Pod-Cast is a great idea too - not too many seem to be using this method for offline. It could generate some good interview material. One fellow in this forum is also giving out a slick newsletter/magazine - good idea - but you already have a BOOK ;-) (one better - very solid street cred) even if it's a kindle, you may be able to use a coupon code for a freebie...instead of using your hard copies.
I looked at your book, and I'd like a copy of that myself ! (Looks very interesting...my birthday's coming up - keep me in mind )
        Best of Luck! -
