Hello,

I am a Facebook fanpage developer and I would like some feedback on this Facebook-based landing page I just designed. Any constructive criticism would be welcome. I really think Facebook is a great "gateway" to send people through before they go to a website.

It looks great. I give it an 8. I would make the profile picture bigger.

Also I thought that you are not supposed to have media autoplaying on fanpages.

wow very slick...one of the first facebook landing pages i have seen using sound and moving graphics.

I am actually very active on facebook and i would like to ask:

1. what is your strategy for getting more 'likes' ?
2. how are you spreading the word for your page?

would love to know more about problems/challenges you have encountered!

  The primary purpose of a FB Welcome Page is to make you click.
  
  I think it accomplishes that for an American audience, if it was for Tescos/ Asda/ Sainsburys in the UK I would click.

I give it a 7 only because it took nearly 5 or more seconds for it to load up.

  In fact I almost clicked out *but* the audio started playing.
  
  Are you using Flash and if so are you worried about iOS devices not being able to read it?
  
  Why not do a simple video with the mom, her two kids, and all the groceries she received for free (encoded in H.264).
  
  The way that it looks now and more importantly, to my ear, the narration sounds like something you'd hear on some commercial selling cut rate insurance.
  
  I feel the page is lost between being slick/corporate and homemade and for me it doesn't work. It doesn't look real.
  
  Just my opinion.

I hate autoplay with audio. I clicked away immediately. I'm sure it's nice, but when I hate autoplay that starts blaring away I click away straight away.

Give it a 7.5 mainly cause the pic was so so...not a fan of auto-play (although with that layout it works well)

Great niche as it will help solve a lot of peoples problems. Loaded instantly for me with no delays. (4g Verizon MiFi/Win7/FF5) <--dunno if that matters?

We have friends that shop like that...been to lazy to explore it myself, but definitely a HOT niche!
