Regenerating Clients for Offline Businesses

I seem to remember a recent ....or maybe not so recent WSO that went into details about working the leads for offline businesses for a percentage of the profits.

For example...working a Dentist's list of patients that haven't come back to see them in 2 years as opposed to the usual 6 month appointment schedule.

Anyway....is anyone doing this that might provide some type of information regarding their structure?

or....

Does anyone remember the which wso had this business plan in it...I couldn't find it anywhere?

Thanks in advance!

I avoid those methods cause there is almost no way to confirm who comes, how much they pay and so on. It's a incoming trainwreck IMHO. Getting paid % of profits has to do more with customer does, instead of what I can control. And I want to control MY business. Perhaps I am missing a piece here but from my past experiences this is not something I'll do again - ever.

People make good money selling to the rich. But the rich got rich selling to the masses.

My though's as well, I've had this idea and done it (reactivating clients that business haven't seen or heard from again). It's not worth the effort or time hassle, main problem comes down to tracking and making sure your getting paid for each reactivated client. Business can easily forged and manipulate spread sheets etc to lower cost for themselves (tried this). Even had a VA contact the clients for another to follow up, so many went that weren't "accounted for". And then if you want to deal with tracking and the books, either A) you'll be so consumed trying to mng clients like that and not make $ that makes it worth it, or B) have to charge an amount that makes it worth it to you but a turn off to businesses regardless of the profit potential and recurring revenue they may now get (so many businesses are stuck in that mindset of not focusing on the numbers even if it's right in front of their face and instead are stuck on their "cost" for this)

I just stopped after that, totally not worth the effort or bs hassle of dealing with that.

I would just show them how to reactivate their old clients, how to setup autoresponder etc, charge maybe a few hundred (or whatever) and let them have at it, so your not stuck trying to mng the campaign and make sure everything is accurate.

To do this you need to have serious tracking and access to their books. This method will cause you more problems than it's worth. You can however sell leads and track e-mails and phone calls. You still need to invoice the client at the end of the month. This can also be difficult if the business sucks at following up with prospects. Before doing this I would test to see if they answer the phone or let it go to voice mail. The quickest way to lose a client "Don't answer your phone."

    Hi Jason,

  • Awesome...thanks guys. Lol, I'd actually already purchased it, but didn't watch it because the video wouldn't work right, so redownloading it now.

I do remember Dan Kennedy talking about a friend of his that did this...traveled around in an RV contacting Dentists and made about 250k a year part time.

So just looking at business models of it! Thanks for the input!
