Hi Guys

Does anyone use Article Marketing Robot for local seo?

Im gathering sites around the web to contact to provide articles to them, but wondered if it was worth using AMR considering it only publishes to article directories so would of thought the links werent that good?

Feel free to teach me otherwise if so

Thanks all

Rob

    Hi Rob,

I don't personally, I haven't found a need to do a lot of the traditional offsite SEO things to get my hyper local sites ranked. Its really pretty simple.

AMR can work if you incorporate citations into your articles.

      Where did you hear this?

I think its that Google no longer
      shows citations on places pages
      any longer.

    • That doesn't mean that citations are not a ranking factor anymore just because Google don't display them on the places page anymore.

I've not ventured that way yet, although good use of long tail keywords including the region could work - but I'd definately consider it as part of a campaign and perhaps tweak articles into local press-releases. Personally I have found Facebook pages as one of the best local platforms through the power of competitions and deals for Facebook friends of 'the business'.

Every backlink counts, even from porn sites. They will help you a ton.

Best idea is to have your keywords very targeted.
You can get tons of links by using AMR
and this will help your scale to the top.

Hmmm... Newbie here. I have not researched "AMR" and dont know much about it. Call me lame, but I am just relying on the old "keywords". I have got many google front page from just good keywords. "Research"
