Something interesting is brewing... maybe a potentially new offline service to offer to your clients?

I kinda like the panaramic photo shoots taken inside the business shops.

Google Offers for Businesses

Only in a few areas at this time, but looks good!

It was only a matter of time.

I smell opportunity. On the other hand, I smell trouble for businesses. Which makes me start smelling opportunity again.

This should be an Interesting development especially with Groupon trying to release their IPO.

If they set it up properly and stop changing everything like Google places could be another great offer for offline businesses.

Plus it is even full mobilized.

Very interesting. Google more and more follows the example of Microsoft in the 1990's.

Then, MS would wait until a smaller competitor had established a beachhead for a new software application and move in to copy and exploit the same product niche.

Google vs Groupon should be a benefit to offline local marketers. I d/l their pdf but saw no mention of prices they will charge?

I have a client who is doing a Google Offers deal this fall. She did Groupon about a year ago, so I'm interested to see how this deal differs. I will be helping her with an upsell campaign, so I think she'll have a more profitable experience either way.

One thing that stood out to me was she asked the sales rep why she should go with Google Offers, and his response simply was: "We're Google."
