Google Places Listing, Address doesn't exist!

An offline client of mine has recently moved to a new premise. Unfortunately it is located in a relatively new estate and their street address doesn't exist in Google maps.

My initial course of action was to submit a report to Google informing them of the issue. This eventually elicited a canned email response from Google, followed by an equally canned phone response notifying the client that the issue was being looked at.

So far so good. Unfortunately something went awry at Google's end and now my clients map listing resolves to some random address a couple of suburbs away. It would appear to be the nearest similar street name that's been chosen.

Once again a fault report was submitted to Google, followed by another set of canned responses, both phone and email from the big G. That was 5 weeks ago and still the maps listing is completely wrong.

So my question is how should I proceed now? Do I start editing the clients existing citations and change them all to the new address even though it doesn't exist according to Google?

Or do I go through another round of submitting error reports and hope someone sorts it at Google end?

Has anyone experienced a similar issue? If so how did you resolve it?

Thanks

Try geo tagging your photos and videos at your clients new address. Wouldn't hurt to do one or two at the exact address and the others close by but surrounding that main address.

It might help in your case. If you try that, let me know if it works.
