Facebook fanpage question????

Can you merge a customers old fan page with the new page so that the followers all come over?

    From what I know, you can "transform" an old profile (y'know, some people out of ignorance created personal profiles for their businesses) into a fan page.

    Now there is a feature in your account settings to download all your info (friends included) and can be transformed in a business fan page.

    But I guess that is not your case...

      No. A feature like that would be too easy to exploit. You will have to make a post linking to the new fan page and tell them to "like" it, maybe a few times over a time span of 1-2 weeks or so (just make sure it doesn't look to spammy). Also you should update the information and link to the new fan page there.
      You CAN change the name of the page though if less than 100 people like it.
