Hello all,

Some time ago I looked a great new move in list supplier. I can't remember what it was called. If anyone knows where to get these lists I would appreciate letting me know what you like?

I already have database101. com, that is not the one I am looking for.

Thanks in advance.

Seb

While not exactly a "move in" list, I've found that the Leads Lists in your city's Business Journal gives all the new companies that are registered. It is a great way to contact new businesses who probably don't have any of the services you are offering.

The Business Journals also have a Real Estate Roundup section where you can see what companies have moved into office space. I've found this to be a good lead source as well.

    I hope this helps!

    Hey Seb, whats up?

The only new move in lists I know of are from list brokers... this is not an affiliate link but you could probably get one from Al at professionaltelemarketingsolutions.com

It may cost a little... However if you are doing it for a lead generation client you want to include that cost in your quote and get it covered ahead of time.

The haines criss cross directly also tells you the length of time a person has been in the home i believe, but I think its only updated once or twice per year.

Usually if I need a specialty list, I go to a list broker and they arent cheap, but once again its covered by the client and included in their price quote. Good thing is that next campaign they dont have to pay again for it again because you already have it.

I know this isnt really what you are looking for Seb, but most people use list brokers for stuff like that. If I come across a list I will post here.

Hi Seb....a few yrs ago I started a "Welcome Service" in my Town (when Times were Better than now)

What "Inspired me" was....one day I was in WalMart looking to buy some printing paper and....sitting next to the paper was a stack of "Magnetic Sheets" that could be run thru an Inkjet Printer. (Heat would not work)

I got an instant "Hot Flash"; "What if I were to divide the Sheet into sections....the Middle Section would be "IMPORTANT NUMBERS" which would be very helpful to "Movers".

I'd then put Full Color Business Cards around the edges and across the bottom (See Photo Below)....run them thru my inkjet...put them in an envelope along with a "Welcome Letter" and mail them to my List of "NewComers.

These "Movers" would stick the Magnet ON THEIR FRIDGE where the "Important Numbers" could easily be found and....guess what?....the business cards would also BE SEEN....Daily. (In fact, after a few mos I added a CALENDAR...which gave recipients another reason to place my magnets ON their fridge)

At that time there were an average of 150 Movers a month (Home Buyers, Apartment & Condo Renters...people moving in from out of town and people just changing residences)

I made up a Sample and went out and showed some local business people and had NO problem filling the Ad Spaces.

I then HIT A BRICK WALL! I could NOT...find a decent "List" of "Movers". I either had to commit for a long time...commit to a List bigger than I needed or...Pay Thru the Nose for each Name.

There were cheaper Lists available BUT....they were OLD Names....some as old as 3 yrs. I needed a List that was 2 or 3 mos old....low-cost and no long term commitment.

I was almost ready to hang it up when....WHAMO....I found exactly what I was looking for.

And....Seb....if you will PM me with a "Statement" (your "Word") that you WON'T Share, "give or sell" the Name, Phone # or Web Address .... of the Company I found...I will PM the Addy to you.

And...if you will include a few Zip Codes near you...I will give you an "Average Count" for the last 3 mos.

      Don Alm
