Is there anybody currently offering email marketing for local biz owners?

Can you share how you guys did it, in terms of services offered and pricing.
How can we actually take advantage of this business model?
Any input is much appreciated!

Thanks,
Qamar

    Well -

You'd need a targeted list of customers, or a way to develop it for them.

One model could be to encourage new and existing customers to sign up for some benefit - in order to get them on the list - and email them regular coupons and specials, etc.

Hi Heidi, any idea how to structure the service?

    For example:

    How much to charge them?
Who's going to write the autoresponder messages to their list?
If the list increases in size definitely the prices of servicing their list would increase right, but how much?

That' some of my concerns. So if there's anyone who's currently doing this model, would be great to learn from them.

    Anyway thanks Heidi!

      Hello Heidi,
In regards to increasing list costs, consider trafficwave.net they offer unlimited autoresponders, lists and mailings for only $17.95/mo.

You could manage the e-mail campaigns for an unlimited amount of clients all under one roof for that low price. Imagine getting 100 businesses paying you $40/mo. Host all their capture pages on your website (each client has own capture page) Also put a form on that page where they can post their broadcast letters. You just copy and paste their letters (from the comments box on your form) into the autoresponder. Limit them to maybe 2 letters a month. You could then send them monthly reports on their open rates, bounce rates etc. as well as a list of all their sign-ups EMPs (Trafficwave, Aweber etc.) provide these reports to you. You forward theses to your clients.

Has anyone ever tried partnering to buy and develop a large group of niche sites? If you are a new marketer and have just one set of internet marketing skills I’d like to talk to you.
My motto is “Singly we struggle, jointly we succeed. “
There’s power in numbers. None of us can do everything, but most of us can do one thing. Most of us don’t want to risk the price for this great product, we can’t afford to buy this product individually, but together it’s easily within reach.
I am an author and I know a little bit about a lot of internet marketing strategy, maybe you are an email expert or a graphics person or you understand something about design. We can help each other get started in business together.
Contact me by email if you are interested. djemerald2@gmail.com
Please insert in Subject line "partnering with you."

Well, mine is quite different, as I include it when I do an SEO package for local
    merchants.

I belong to an organization called Mojo Video Marketing, and I send out emails with a video of the "sender". This is so much better than a regular old text email, and the open rate is huge! It also can be seen on a smartphone.

If I was doing this separately, I would probably charge $25 buck a month
