What are your lead sources?

I know capturing leads through PPC and SEO are pretty common on here.

But how do you find new leads?

Do you find them through referrals? Networking groups? Advertising? Sponsorships?

For selling mobile websites linked to QR Codes, I strictly look at companies that are already advertising. I find these leads in newspapers, magazines, yellow pages, coupon clippers, valpaks, and pretty much any free magazine you can find at the grocery store-- think apartment listings and car listings...

I also belong to a few chambers of commerce and other networking groups. I always ask clients for referrals.

Once I have a lead, I call the business up and ask for an appointment. I then go for the close during the appointment.

    Ben,
If you don't mind, how many appointments are you setting per week and is this your main focus or are splitting time on other projects outside mobile?

    Thanks

I'd personally spend some time on your local Chamber of Commerce website, and go through and find some businesses that are in need of a website re-design or update. By clicking systematically through the list for all of the businesses, you will quickly find plenty that are in need of some help.

We use Craigslist pretty heavy for lead generation - lots of business owners on there. LinkedIn is also a great place to get owners attention.
