Experienced Telemarketer looking for advice on going freelance!
This question is for those who either use a freelance telemarketer or work as a freelance telemarketer.
As the title suggests, I am an experienced Outbound sales and Telemarketer. I've been working for some large uk based energy companies and have done some B2B sales for a friend's business. However as a result being sucessful in these arenas I now want to go freelance full time as I want to be my own boss.
What I was hoping was you guys would be kind enough to answer the following:
If you're appointment setting, how much do you pay/charge roughly per appointment?
If you're one call closing roughly what percentage comission do you charge?
Do you set a retainer or base rate per hour?
If your setting up appointments how do you pass the appointments onto the client? Is it with the use of an online calendar like google calendars? How do you ensure the appoints aren't too far apart for the client as well?
Are there any best practices you can share regarding working with your client?
These may seem like silly questions, but my experience is limited to large organisations who have systems in place that smaller clients may not. Anyway my mum always told me "The only silly question is the one you don't ask!".
