When you were a Newbie, do you remember?

Everyone starts out as a newbie. No one just wakes up one day and says "I am a Guru, now listen to me!"

At some point anyone who was or is a newbie has also come across a moment when they were made to feel absolutely Idiotic just because they were not as "experienced" and felt pushed out/away. Did this ever happen to you? Has this happened?

What did you do about it? How did you keep yourself determined to go forward and believe in yourself that you could be an IM?

    it's never happened to me and i wouldn't tolerate it in any of my forums either...

    I kept going forward because I had to... no income = no food or house.
