Hi guys,

I just launched my Web Design Site and I want some reviews and suggestions to make it better. Here it is: Pixelite Designs

    Hi Maricelu,

    Personally I would upload the video using your own video hosting instead of Vimeo. Would look more professional in my opinion

        To host a video you don't need to put it on your actual hosting you can upload it anywhere even YouTube and use your own player like the JW Player

        Somethings I noticed about the template:

        - Portofoliu « Pixelite Designs seems to have 2 contact forms, why not just one?
        - Servicii « Pixelite Designs the drop downs should extent full width having a lot of blank area doesn't look so great or add a image.
        - Contacte « Pixelite Designs same thing, 2 contact forms I believe that area should be filled with different ways to contact you like Skype, Facebook, Twitter etc

    The theme is "clean" and the video is good for branding purposes.

    What I think is missing is a list of three typical reasons for people do do business with you. Right now the website shows that you are just another web designer. Does the prospect have any reason to choose to work with you other than price?

    Of course, I don't know Romanian so perhaps something was shown in the video that I couldn't understand. However, what I am talking about are reasons that make you stand out. These are reasons why people choose to have you design their site rather than another designer, such as:

    * they are frustrated with an inability to organize their online information in such a way as to present themselves as a subject matter expert to their target market

    * they are upset about previous designers they've worked with, who didn't take the time to learn exactly what functionality they wanted, and simply made a "canned" website.

    Prospects who read these reasons and are experiencing one or more themselves will know that you understand their world. This starts to free you up from price as an objection, and they begin to trust you. When they trust you, they share more information with you. Does this make sense?

      Hi,
      Thanks for your suggestions. Now I work on some things to make me stand out from the crowd. I will try to put some demo sites which will be lead-gathering sites and will introduce the benefits to the visitor. I already have on the right side of the content some basic advantages of having a site, and will try to make something like the benefits of having US building their site.

    it's a nice, clean site with a call to action at the top = v good things

    but one thing strikes me: where are the images that SHOW what your site offers?

    i have to READ what you offer = you've lost a lot of visitors already.

    images, images, images...

    you got less than a second to keep them on your site
