Setting up an offline business remotely

Is it possible to setup an offline business remotely? I currently live in shanghai china, but would like to setup a U.S. based business providing digital media services. Has anyone done something like this before? What strategies did you apply to maintain your location independence while growing your business?

    Love your tag line.

    This is not impossible but for many peoiple is is a difficult barrier to cross not being able to get in front of people. Do you have a system in place to get leads?

      This is exactly what I'm working on, also living in china, hong kong for the next couple of weeks..

      It's obviously possible, like with everything you just need motivation and consistency. The only significant difference is obviously that you can't make the sale in person, so you need to experiment to find other techniques that works (you can of course also hire a sales rep who does the meetings for you).

      It's probably harder, but then again the pay off is greater. It's possible. If you want to bounce off ideas or anything, add me on skype <--
