Do you have a barter/trade ad for craigslist?

I want to get a couple of things through trade and was looking for an Ad I could use for craigslist. I am looking for the usual stuff cars, electronics, food, I do not need any home services but everything else is ok.

Do any of you have a barter/trade Ad I can use for classified sites?

    Mike,

I don't know what skills you have to trade, so you will need to swipe out what is listed here in the sample ad for what YOUR skills are that you are wanting to trade for.

Also, even though this ad is about getting a used car, it can be used for any other type of service you are wanting/needing.

Hope this ad gives you some inspiration and new ideas.

    Here's the Sample Barter/Trade Ad:

Used Auto Dealers: Website/SEO Marketing For a Used Car

    Hey Barterers,

Here is the situation: I am a talented web designer and I need a cheap car to get around.

This is a wide open barter offer: Any graphical, technical, marketing, or site development work you need done that concerns the internet, I can do at a great price in trade for a car.

I also can create HTML driven emails and craigslist posts, so you may catch more attention from your posts. All of my web design services are available for trade: Web Development, Webmaster, Web Design, Search Engine Optimization for your website, Search Engine Marketing for your business online, Site Hosting, Video Production and any updates or consultation you might need as well.

I currently work as the Web Director for a local internet and print advertising firm, but don't let that deter you; I am an honest and well educated web professional in need of a vehicle. I also make Internet Commercials with advanced animation techniques. Videos are the future of the internet, and a valuable marketing resource that is under utilized online today.

Bottom line: if you are going to invest any money into your internet presence, consider trading me one of your cheaper used vehicles for you web development work instead. It will be a win/win situation, I assure you of that. This will give you the chance to save money by using your vehicle stock to invest in your web presence.

This will be a straight forward trade, $ value for $ value. Please email me if you would like details on my portfolio of websites, or specific work I am capable of.

As far as vehicles: I am partial to Honda, Nissan, Mazda, or Toyota. Sports car, sedans, coupes, or even maybe economic size (ie Civic).

Any takers? Even if you are just curious or have web questions....I do that every day, even if you don't have a car to trade.

Thanks for your time and please email the Craigslist email above for a quick response.

    Good luck, Mike

Everyone is going to have their own opinion, but I do not like this: "Here is the situation: I am a talented web designer and I need a cheap car to get around."

If you are talented, you will have enough money for a car. There is enough good stuff in JMB's response to write a good ad, but this doesn't seem to come across as being successful at what you do.
