What are Your Chances Of Becoming A Millionaire? - Isnt This Cool?

According to a study conducted by the Deloitte Center for Financial Services, that as of May 2011, there are currently almost 38 million people around the world who are classified as U.S. dollar millionaires -Wiki

Wow, talk about making your dreams feel more utterly realistic!

It makes you think "Wow could I be one of those 38 million people...?", instead of "I only have a one in a million chance and the odds are stacked against me".

A quick calculation gives that as approximately .54% of the total population or about 1 in 190 - which isn't bad odds when you think about it!

I hate to admit it but I would probably settle for less... (Do you have any statistics on that too, lol?)

I quite often have stupid ideas, and this maybe one

but to earn $1000,000 selling a product with a profit of $200, I would need to sell 5,000 of that product.

I am guessing the average person could not conceive selling 5,000 of anything

but could the average person consider being able to sell 100 of a product,if there was a huge market and this was backed with a proven system, maybe this sounds more feasible.

so focus your effort on selling 100 of this product in the shortest time period possible. Come up with a no brain solution, systemise it, test different strategies and automate as much as possible.

then do some beta testing. you will split the profits with your jv partner 50/50 I am sure a lot of people would like to earn $10,000 , especially if you can give them an easy to use formula, and will require minimum of effort on their part.

once you nailed the system and have social proof, take it to the market place, you would need 100 people that can follow your formula to make your $1000,000.

Perhaps an even easier strategy would be to approach businesses that already have a large client base and then do a jv partnership with them. give them an automated system which they can plug into their sales funnel.

so first focus on the system, and then focus on helping your jv partners to implement the system.

This is actually my goal by the end of 2012 if we're still alive.... we'll see. By then being a millionaire in USD might not be much to brag about lol.

Edit: Now that I see someone brought a year old thread up from the grave... To stop the PM's and emails.. no I didn't do 1 mill this year. I thought I was going to, but still a considerable amount away. Always next year.

Depending on how dedicated they are I would like to think the chance is 100%

Your chances of becoming a millionaire are actually much higher than .5%. These statistics include the vast majority of people who could never earn a million a year, because they are salaried employees. And most would never invest well enough to end up with a million in assets.

About a third of my business friends do over a million in gross business a year, and I'm guessing that maybe 10% of them actually earn that much a year.

Believe me, most millionaires I know drive the same cars we do, live in the same homes, and eat in the same restaurants we do.

In most areas of the country, making a million a year makes you comfortable, but I wouldn't think of myself as wealthy.

A friend of mine got a million dollar sale, where he actually got a check for one million dollars (and change). I asked him what he was going to do with it. He said "Make payroll. Maybe pay down some debt".

It was a good sale, but not life changing.

I guess it all depends on what you consider a millionaire....

Someone could have made a million in there working lifetime.
    $25k a year at 40 years is a million.

    Then, there is someone's networth.
Between all the assets they have a total net worth of a million.

    Then there is liquid.
Where you look at someone's bank statement and it shows a million.

Which kind of millionaire do you wanna be?

The chances of you becoming a millionaire are simple... either 100% or 0%.

Those who are willing to gain the knowledge and skill required to
become a millionaire and apply that knowledge and skill on a consistent
daily basis have 100% probability of becoming a millionaire... assuming they
    don't die first.

Those who aren't willing to gain the knowledge and skill or apply it on a consistent
daily basis have 0% chance no matter what they do... the exception being the rare
individual who picks the correct lotto numbers.... lol

As with most things... becoming a millionaire is a choice... not a chance.
