Ok to let client know about Google Keyword tool?

A client is asking regarding how to find search numbers for keywords. Is it fine to let them know about Google Adwords Keyword Tool so they can do searches on their own. I assume this is something you guys show to many of your clients correct? No issue here?

What do you really mean by client asking you about search numbers for keywords? I've been using the Google Adword Keyword Tool but mainly, it just helps me in learning about keyword diversity.

If you're trying to do seo for your client and want to rank a particular keyword.. you might aswell provide them the data as to how many searches the keyword you're trying to optimize..

^ How does that help you learn about keyword density? lol.

Use SEM rush and tell them that they would need to pay however much a month in order to view it. Say you have all the subscriptions to tools you will need to get them results!

    Why not ?
Since Google Adwords Keyword Tool is open to all.
Why you need to hide behind from your client.

They have the right to see what the famous keywords in the market or what other keywords is related.
No matter you provide SEO or even Google Adwords Consult. Client have the right to know about it.

It can help depending on the client. The numbers are typically inflated so it can prompt them to spend money.:p They usually do not know what to do with the information, although they will try to work with it.

You have no obligation any more than a jeweler (or any business person) does to tell you all his "sources" of information.

You can charge them to do the research and print it out for them.

I've shown clients the tool. I don't show them how to use it unless they pay me to.
It's nothing different than someone asking to see a skill saw. Can they use it? There are lots of people around with missing digits...

I would show the clients the tool. I would even tell them that it's inflated and give them advice or teach them about buyers keywords so they'd choose the right keywords. It's long term business you're after so the more they trust you, the longer they remain your clients.

      Of course.

I use it in videos I sent to clients/potential clients to let them know how much business they are missing out on. It is a great sales tool.
