    If you mean by not being caught in spam filters then that is a thing that everyone is trying to avoid. The thing is that all spam filters behave differently from email services. You might have too many images or too much html or too many links or too few words or words that the spam filter doesn't like.

    It's hard to get around them.

    The best thing you can do is send html and plain text versions, use a reputable email marketing service like an aweber or icontact etc etc, and don't send spam.

      One good way - assuming of course this is an opt-in subscriber you are marketing to - is to 'ask' your subscriber to 'whitelist' your email address in one of your very first emails. This is quick to do from within their email account and basically means they set your email address as a 'known' contact so it doesn't get blocked by the spam filters.

      Also another tip, is to be cautious about using what could be considered 'spammy' looking techniques in your emails e.g. Avoid words (especially in the subject line) that are likely to flag up on the spam filter - such as FREE (especially with Trail, Quote , DVD) , or using all CAPITALS, or too many !!!

      These will all cause the spam filters to look a little closer at your (innocent) email and could result in it being sent straight to the Spam/Junk Mail Folder!
