How Do You Capture Leads?

I want to sell leads to doctors/dentists I am curious how you capture a lead. I know you can have the visitor submit a contact form but that doesn't seem like it's good enough for the doctor to actually convert them to a paying patient.

Now, I read you can also have them call in a number (which will redirect to the doctors office) is that the best solution so you know how many calls you are bringing in?

If the doctor was ok with that I could see the number working. A service we had tracked that to show us their value.

    Yea that is probably best.

    Anyone have any other suggestions?

    Hi P1,
I could add some more suggestions regarding this subject.
You can setup on your site 2 main "Call-to-action" points, usually you should have the phone number highlithed the most and then you should use an contact form because some visitors prefer to get in touch by e-mail. Also, give them a reason to call or complete the form. Here is a site I made for demonstration purposes: London Pumbling - Best Plumbing Services in London . As I suppose, the very first thing which came out in your eyes was the phone number in white, then the rest of the header including the title and that animated text which also attracts attention. Then, I think you saw the form from the right and then the rest of the text located in the content section. You can click the link from my signature for some more information regarding my demo site.

Also, educate the clients to ask their customers where they came from, many of them will say that Google brought them to their site, where they saw the phone number.
