The Real Deal Offline Series: "Tell Me The Truth - Does This Offline WSO Really Work?"

Every single day that I'm on the most popular offline forums and talking to offliners, someone asks for the silver bullet marketing strategy that is guaranteed to get them offline clients.

In all honesty, we know that there's not a perfect lead generation strategy that will answer our prayers, however we also know that there are some lead gen strategies that will consistently generate five or ten clients for every campaign we implement.

However, the challenge we face is how do we navigate all the landmines being released every day to get to the golden nugget strategies that will at least generate one or two clients a week.

After spending most of 2009 and much of 2010 buying every offline wso I could get my hands on, I have a pretty good idea of strategies being sold on the warrior forum that have a realistic chance of working for me based on my marketing budget, skill set and market place.

However, that still doesn't stop me from investing in pretty much every offline lead gen strategy wso that comes out, because I know that I need to stay current and on top of my game in order to thrive in this new economy.

However, instead of buying dozens of lead gen wso's and letting them collect cyber dust on my hard drive, I've now adapted my business and mindset to steadily build up my offline empire with the few effective strategies that I stumble across.

Here's how I've done it in the past:

Step 1: Buy the wso and stop everything else I'm doing to read or watch the wso videos.

Step 2: Spend a couple of weeks implementing the strategy.

Step 3: Wait for a couple more weeks to see if the strategy works.

Step 4: Realize that for one reason or another that it won't work for me, so I tweak it and try it for another month.

Step 5: Give up in disgust and go back to what I was doing before I "discovered" the wso.

But, here's how I do it now:

Step 1: Buy the wso.

Step 2: Set aside a pre-determined time to read or watch the wso videos.

Step 3: If it's good, take five minutes to send the wso instructions and tools to my virtual assistant to implement.

Step 4: Continue to work on the real money-making activities in my business.

Step 5: Get daily/weekly reports from my virtual assistant about the success or failure of the strategy.

Now, that shift in my business has freed up more of my energy, time with my family and stress off my plate than I believed would've been possible. Plus, it allows me to keep adding effective marketing strategies to my business.

If you have a extra $40 - $50 a week, why not try this and see if it can help you get more clients into your offline biz.

    Good advice Chris.

    Too many people think that maybe the next WSO will be the one that will make them money. So they put the one they have behind them and start reading another.

    The best thing I ever did was stop looking for that "silver bullet" and just take action.

    This is not rocket science. You have all the information on this forum to be able to offer the service. You have to get out from behind the computer screen and contact businesses. It's really as simple as that. All the WSO's in the world will not help you if you don't actually send that email, make that cold call, or send that direct mail piece.

    Find one method that you like and run with it until you KNOW it does not work. Not getting the conversion rate you'd like? Tweak the marketing piece until you get it to your liking.

    I personally feel that a video email gets the best conversion rate for me. And once you get the hang of it you can easily do 2 or 3 different niches a day.
