Finding the perfect businesses to target?

Hey Guys,

I am having real trouble in finding the best business to contact.

You see the city I live spreads out about 20-30km in almost every direction.

So should I be targeting businesses right in the city center? or can they be 10km out of the CBD?

Most people use keywords like "chiropractor (city name)" (according to google) and the local results always show those located right in the heart of the city.

Even when the people searching would be looking for businesses closer to them.

So should I only target businesses right in the heart of the city? or is it ok to target businesses that are further out?

Thanks guys

What can you do to help those businesses that are NOT in the center of the city?

This could be a USP. "I don't know if you've looked at Google search results, Miss Prospect, but they seem to always only show those businesses of your type that are in the heart of the city. That's a frustration that a lot of business owners like you have about Google. But I know how to get your business to appear on more local searches, and I'd like to meet with you to talk about this further and find out if we're a fit. Does this make sense?"

That's what I would suggest too. Great advice.

You could do all your marketing around this USP. Sounds like there's plenty of business just doing that to keep you going.
