Backlinks disappearing faster than I can build them

I have been building backlinks for one of my clients and the links fall off so fast. I do the same process for other sites and the backlinks remain and build. I have never seen anything mentioned about this and wondered if anyone else has ever experienced this. The backlinks are mostly junk links but not all. Help from anyone that might have a solution would be much appreciated.

      The links are in article posts just not on high PR site. But even the links that are quality links that I build do not stay. I am really not in search of your backlinking philosophy. And you obviously didn't have an answer to the question.

    When you say "removed", what do you mean? Are you talking you don't see them in a tool you're checking or you physical don't see them anymore on the forum/blog/comment/etc...?

      I don't see them when using seobook toolbar or yahoo site explorer. I use the astro cirta to build some of my links and it works great for most of my sites. I just can't get anything to stick on my one site Allied Apartments - Lafayette, Monticello, West Lafayette Apartments I am wondering if there is a problem with the site such as pageload time or some other reason that the links do not stick. The links fall off at a much quicker rate than my other sites.
