Craigslist Dont over look it!

I just got a call from a guy needing SEO who saw my ad on craigslist. I landed him for a 6 month contract all thanks you Craigslist. Do not over look this wonder tool in your arsenal. I have got 5 clients off this platform since starting using it every day 2 months ago.

Yes do a lot of your ads never get replys? Sure.. But they are FREE! and they get your name and exposure out there. You will get a call leave your number out there for people to see it. Keep working hard and for all the new OFFliners out there don't give up.

Just curious what pricing you are selling your packages for? Might just be my presuppositions about Craigslist, but it seems like you might attract people wanting a cheap service off of Craigslist. So it may not work as well for people who price their services in a higher bracket.

Again, may not be true, just my presuppositions.

      $500 a month SEO x 6month contract = $3000

I never put my prices on craigslist just put out a nice call to action on my ad then I put my number and have people call me. Works great for me! Try it out don't list prices, give a nice call to action and then put your number.

Congrats! I've also been using Craigslist, and while there is a good bit of competition it's definitely worth the time to post an ad. It only takes a few minutes, and the competition forces you to hone your copywriting skills. I've gotten a few clients through Craigslist that I never would have reached otherwise.

You guys are really getting busness from Craiglist? Are you ads in major cities or you own smaller town or what? I just looked in my local area that includes major cities and counted almost 40 ads for website, SEO, etc. posted in the latst 2 days. When I narrow it down to a much smaller area there are only a few ads for the last few days.

My current posting strategy is posting in my home town, then to the two biggest cities near by.

I put together a nice HTML ad for craigslist last night only for it to be ghosted.

Not sure why though. I haven't posted anything on craigslist in months. I'll try again tonight.

OP what section are you posting in? Services/computers or services/small biz ads?

Would you mind sharing your titles for the ads?

    Thanks.

You can drive HUGE amounts of leads to your phone, email or website from Craigslist. I know because I explain that... (in my signature).

Business owners use Craigslist EVERY DAY. It's a perfect place to find leads for your offline business. Offer a compelling ad and they'll be chomping at the bit to call you and work with you.

I am regularly amazed people claim to get any web or SEO work from Craiglist. I recently searched my entire state and there was....lets say literally nothing.

Plus the fact that Craigslist made it so difficult to place ads I wouldnt even try to sell a car there.

But for those who use it successfuly rock on!

This sounds great. What section do you guys put your ads?

Voasi, just bought your WSO. Thanks for the recommendation.

I just lost two clients which equate to $15K of my monthly income. Needless to say I need to replace these guys!

    sbias,

What are you doing for $500 a month? I dont even take a consultation for less than $500. After creating content, optimizing pages and paying you link builders how do you have anything left over?

It was that price for this client because the ease of keywords. Don't need to create tons of content and only have to optimize the page and add a few backlinks.
