I Spy..... QR CODES :-)

So I open my business AMEX bill and what do I see on the back of the envelope??

If you said a QR code you win the prize behind door number one!

The above code links to the AMEX mobile website.

Just wondering where else you're seeing QR codes and how they're being used.

Pictures would be appreciated.

Kevin

I've seen a really tiny one, like less than 1cm square, on my banking statements. Don't think that's even scanable never tried.

I see them everywhere now.. everytime i see one i take a picture of it with my phone so i can show potential customers how popular they are becoming, and show them how different businesses use them

The reason for this in the U.S. is the Postal Service now
offers postage discounts if printing the code.

Yeah... they are indeed so broke, they figured that would
at least retain some mail business for them.

I'm sure somebody will. In fact it wouldn't surprise me at all if there isn't someone walking around with one right now.

The back of my business card has a QR code on it.

When the user scans it with a smart phone, it automatically puts my Contact info into their contact list, including Facebook links, Twitter Account, Gmail, company webpage etc... I have to say that it really works out. How many people just put your business card into their pocket and not file it properly?

On YouTube you'll see examples of QR Code tattoos are already being done (lol).
My favourite is the VERY funny and presumably the "First Ever Animated Tattoo" by K.A.R.L the tattoo artist, on the chest of Mario in Paris, France.

Between the animated cartoon character in the QR code and the cheeky grin of Mario when he heard the tenor toned voice emanating from the embedded code, I'm not sure which amused me more ...
Went viral, roughly two million views in a coupla months... ssooo funny (LMAO) !!
