How do you write a proposal for your offline clients?

OFFLINE MARKETING

I have a number of potential offline clients and i need to write a seo/web promotion proposal for them, one of them being a very big contract.

Now I just want to know how you put together a proposal and what you show them to convince them you are adding value to their business.

Hey Paul,

I have a standard proposal that lays everything out very clearly so not only will it show what we are offering to them it is a back up for if they questions what services they paid for.

Then in the contract there is a box stating that they are agreeing to the services laid out in Option A of the standard proposal. Works well for me.

@guavasofts - I understand that I would need to find their rankings and highlight areas on their site that needs improving to help with the rankings, but its how to present it to the potential clients.

Just some basics that works for me.

- overview
- goal/outcome of project and the "why"
- case studies/stats/benefits
- approach
- scope
- timeline/phases/milestones
- technologies involved
- solution (high level or low fidelity design)
- financial breakdown
- t&cs
- sign off
- appendices

Note this will vary depending on the client/project and YMMV. Also, this isnt the first thing I send them. You can only really produce a proposal doc after youve found their pain points, gotten an idea if you can help them and formulated/verbally discussed potential approaches to their issues.
