Do you want me to add some new Free video sales training content?

I want to put together some new video Sales training, like I did with "Consultative Selling MAGIC!", and get it out there for Warriors to see.

Problem: There are a whole bunch of Sales topics I could give you tips on.

Solution: You tell me what you'd like to learn about.

Let me know in this thread! I'll let it hang out for a day or so, and the topic with the most requests will win!

Also, if it turns out the thing you wanted help with isn't picked, I might just PM you with some ideas. It happened for other people before!

OK everybody, since this thread has been up a little while and only one person has responded (without a specific request), I have to assume one of two things is true:

    * nobody's interested

    * you're not sure of what topics are out there that I could talk about in Sales.

Due to the great interest in my original videos, I'm figuring it's not the former reason. Post here if I'm wrong!

If it's the latter, that you simply don't know what I could talk about, but would like me to share some techniques, maybe it would be helpful if I listed some possibilities.

I could give some advice about:

-The importance of Up Front Contracts
    -Prospecting/Cold Calling
    -Doctoring for Pain
    -Uncovering the true Budget
-Dealing with common Objections that you keep experiencing
-Some other subject that you saw a bit of in "Consultative Selling MAGIC!" and want to learn more about
-Anything else to do with over-the-phone or face-to-face selling.

    Pick Yer Favorites!

OK, just keep in mind: the closing happens because of the quality of your sales process. If you do everything leading up to the close portion badly, your likelihood of success is very low.

Different people have different processes. Just wondering how you go about teaching/coaching?

Is there a certain "technique" you prefer your students use or do you allow them to play to their own personality why incorporating proven tactics and strategies?

I ask because I've wasted hours/days/months 1. trying to do things like others and 2. being too invested in the outcome.

That one-two punch results in a lot of hand wringing and no forward progress or momentum.

If you visited my site and watched my free videos, you would see that I train consultative selling. It's a process. You can think of it as giving you the sheet music, and how you play it is up to you.

I'm concerned that you've had trouble emulating successful methods used by other people. Maybe you had poor coaches. Also, reinforcement of techniques is vital; if you just watched something once and expected it to get into your psyche and become a quick reaction, you'll be disappointed. Sales is like a martial art. You have to train the techniques until they become part of you and natural. Expecting major results from a one-time seminar isn't realistic.

Incidentally, I've gone ahead with what my gut told me would be best yesterday, and made a video about Overcoming Common Objections (in the Eat That Frog! thread). The clickthroughs have proven my gut was right on. So what other topics would you all like to learn about?

The thing is this guys. You can buy many WSOs, You can get lots of hours of couching, at the end of the day it comes down on taking what you have learned, putting your on twist and keep trying until you find something that works for you. I can tell you what works for me but I can't say it will work for you as well as it did for me. On sales there are some many factors that can break or make a sales man. 90% of the time sales people talk themselves out of a sale. Hard to admit but is true. Talk less sale more. Ask for the sale, and take it. On sale less is better the less is better. Do not over explain stuff, Do not answer a question that have not being asked. Just keep it simple and you will see and increase on closings.

That may be true; however this thread is getting off topic.

I am providing valuable expertise for FREE. Not a WSO. Lots of people click through for it. I am asking what people would like to learn about next. Not for a debate on the merits of this or that method.

So PLEASE. What Sales topics, which I have listed some of above for ideas, would you like to learn more about?
