A newbie on the forum, but Albert Einstein to an Offline business

Hi Guys,

I realise that I am a complete newbie on this forum compared to all of you, BUT to someone who has no idea how to market their business online I am Albert Einstein

I was chatting to an aquaintance the other day and she asked what I do. My response was "My day job, or the empire I am building at night?".

I explained how I had learnt about Internet Marketing, using Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn etc for marketing, as well as setting up a blog, optimising it for search engines etc etc etc etc.

She looks at me as if I am a gift from heaven. "How much would you charge me to get me setup with a basic blog, FB, Twitter account etc, and then teach me how to maintain it?"

"Uhm .... can I get back to you on that?" was my response. So I typed up a quote (major thumb suck), sent it to them and yesterday I got a call saying "Please could I come and see them about getting it started."

I am so excited I could just PLATZ and to put it into persective, the amount I quoted was one 6th of my monthly salary. I will get it done in a weekend

    Awesome! Congrats on your success. Be sure that you ask your client for referrals once they start seeing results.

    By the way, I was in Jo'berg for the World Cup last year and absolutely loved it. I can't wait to go back!
