Hello Warriors,

I wanted to see what services (seo, social media, etc) my fellow Warriors were offering to your non-profit client...

I have a large non-profit organization that contacted me and wanted help with re-developing their website, Internet marketing, etc.

They Executive Director left me a voicemail and I called her back a the next morning, we spoke for 30 mins and she was very interested in my web consulting services.

So I'm in the process of writing up a follow up email and moving forward with them hopefully.

Thanks,
Ahmad

The question here should be: What marketing services are they in need of and can you fulfill their needs"? A Non-profit would be looking for the same marketing tools that other businesses use.

I treat Non-profit groups just like any other business. They have the money to pay for your services....they are not like a straight out charity where people "donate" their time, products and services. Their staff and management get a salary....so should you.

If the purpose of the Non-profit is dear to your heart you may want to cut them some slack with pricing or barter services with them, but thats entirely up to you....or something like "a reduced fee in lieu of 3 recommendations"

I would approach them just like any other business. Good Luck.

Totally Agree. Non-Profit are just like any business but helping them build a social marketing platform is very useful for them so you might want to up-sell them that.

Thanks guys! I sent her a proposal for $5,000 for custom re-design of their site and $1500/month SEO and Social Media package

Should be a nice deal! This would be my first non-profit client - I'm def treating them like any other business, I have around 30 offline clients right now (dentists, lawyers, accountant, etc).

The great part is she found me online and contacted me first!

      Thanks,
      Ahmad
