Client Contract

Hi Offline Warriors,

I have a client that wants me to send him a contract but I haven't got any drawn up as I hadn't needed to in the past, what do I do?
Does anyone know how to do an offline contract for SEO in the UK?
Can someone send me a template or sample??
I need one fast.

    Do you have an "agreement" you normally have your clients sign?

    If you have nothing you should get something. if you have an agreement did you ask if that would work?

    Also do you have the money to get a lawyer to write on up? Once you have one made you can use it for everyone and one made by a lawyer will be better than anything you find online for free.

    I'd figure you can get one made for a few hundred from a lawyer so if you do enough business it may be worth it just to get that done.

    Also a lot of what you will find for free online will be based on US law which may work but if you want to be prepared you need on made that covers you in the UK.

    Of course a simple agreement may be all you need. The company who we outsouce most of our web work too just uses simple proposals and agreements.

    I would goto the uk business forum and have a self employed solicitor or rep draw one up for you

    As this forum is mainly US based, the laws in the UK maybe different. For example, indemetiy insurance incase something goes wrong and a client sues you for deranking their website (even if it isnt your fault)
