Looking for a marketing idea for a arts studio
She said that her business is very slow right now and has very little money to start any kind of serious SEO work on her site (which it needs). But if I can get her some customers coming in, then she'll be able to loosen the purse strings to pay for a better site and monthly SEO work.
So I need to come up with a different kind of marketing idea that's inexpensive, yet gives results. So here's my thoughts.
She currently advertises in a local print magazine (she get's an amazing deal cause she knows the owner) and I'd like to place a QR code in her ad. This QR code will then go to a landing webpage that presents an offer of...
"Get A 30 Minute Lesson of Your Choice for FREE!"
Of course, the webpage will include more sales verbage but you get the point. Then once a customer uses the free 30 minute lesson and sees how great the place is, then they'll purchase more lessons for the future. She just needs a way to bring them in the door.
Now, the only thing I'm wondering is what's the best way to get people to accept the offer from the webpage?
Should it just be a phone number that they call for the free lesson? Should they have to enter an email and phone number and the studio owner will call them back? Should they just print (or show on their phone) some sort of coupon for the free lesson?
The main goal is to get people in the door, but it would be nice to be able to start building a list too. Maybe when someone calls for the free lesson, the owner will ask them for their email address on the phone. Then she can build a list from there.
Or do you have any other ideas that would help this woman get more customers?
Thanks.
Mike
