SEO Services For The Same Niche??

Ok question that came to mind...When offering my SEO services I wanted to make the client feel like they are the only ones I will work with in that niche.

Exmaple is I got a realtor then I will not take on work with another realtor wihtin the same general area.

Is this a good marketing tattic or am I cutting out some potential biz ny doing having 2 clients within the same niche and/or same city?

If I were you I'd charge by keyword(s). If the client is willing to pay for exclusivity (500/mo+) then you can try to rank them for several keywords in that location and only work with them.

That is a marketing tactic all in it's own:

"Look I talked to competition 1 and competition 2, and I can only work with ONE of you, because we are going to take over the top spots of Google" ..

You do not want to compete with your self for SEO!..

But, for all realtors, you can use QR codes and build them mobile sites, etc?

For SEO, I have created that scarcity (I can only work with one NIChE per CITY) .. it works.

It's like a marketing agency in your city. If they had 2 clients in the same niche, i'm pretty sure they would work with both. You have to make the decision however. If it were me, i would take on both clients. Because without your help, they'd probably be on page 5 on Google instead of being #1 and #2 on the first page.

Understand all.....I guess once I get more established I can say "no" to clients but will maybe take on both but make sure not in at least the same city and work around that!

Also consider, real estate has many many sub niches. For instance, we are dealing with one now that deals only in farm's and farm land. Now that's pretty niche. On a personal side, I would never give a real estate agent an exclusive but I would give a Spa or Restaurant type an exclusive.

I have no agenda but to help those in the same situation. This I feel will pay the bills.
