wordpress website displaying blank white screen on smartphones?

So, I finished my clients new website and started to test drive it before delivery... looks great on multiple desktop browsers, my non smart phone, but it is a blank white screen on smartphones<yikes>! I tested it on an actual phone not an emulator but then I tested an emulator and I got the same thing... a blank white screen.

I always seem to discover the weirdest technical problems to keep me from finishing a website project

Anyone else have this happen?

    gosh I'm so surprised that no one else has had this happen to them!

    I'm so bummed over this that I'm thinking about switching from wordpress to html sites again.
