Rent a Site Question - How Many Posts Do You Write?
Over the last 1-2 months, I have created 5 lead generating sites. These sites are targeting local businesses and my plan is to rent them out and collect passive income.
I have got some WSO explaining how it works and since starting this project, it has work well with me. Got 2 sites ranked and 3 sites in the process of ranking.
For all my sites, I will generate 6 articles. All keyword rich. The question is, should i maintain the site on a monthly basis by providing new articles as well as fresh external links?
I have seen those one page site ranking well for their local keyword so I was wondering if that is a better idea.
The reason I will maintain the site with fresh content is to expand my keywords variations and hopefully increase the value of the site so that I can charge more.
The cons of maintaining the site are costs (around $50 spent a month for content and link building per site) and the keyword selections.
One more question. Regarding keywords selection, Should I select keywords with my city in it? For example, my local travel insurance site, most of the articles are 'keyword + city'. Can I choose 'keywords only' and still rank for local searches?
