Photographer - She's a fast learner!

Been "advising" the girl that photographed our wedding and she came up with this idea...fantastic.

"Past clients: An easy way to receive a complimentary 8x10. Email me at xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx@hotmail.com a photo I have taken for you, or if it's one from a Fall session and I haven't had a chance to post it yet just let me know and I will post it in an album and have 25 friends join the page and like it and you will receive a complimentary 8x10 of that photo in the mail, just in time for Christmas"

She is not even out of college (studying marketing) and already making more money than most adults by putting her skills to good use.

    Congratulations to the young lady. She obviously will do very well for herself. Isn't it amazing how if one keeps their eyes open in their own profession they discover ways to make an extra buck...

    I read in another foruma bout a guy who only delivers ice machines. Has five trucks on the road delivering only ice machines. My God, is this the land of opportunity or what?

    That's awesome, sandalwood. I know another guy I sort of send my recommendations to that has a tree cutting service (bought my truck cash because he needed it fast due to crazy growth). He has someone give him about $1000 to cut a tree down (cost him maybe $100 in labour), has a guy chop the wood up or mill it (maybe another $100), then sells that wood for $100 a cord or the milled RARE wood (cant buy some of those species anywhere) and makes maybe another $1000. He takes old OSB wood and makes signs all over the city (Firewood - Call 555-5555 - Free delivery). So he is making about $1700-1800 every time he gets a call to cut down a tree (and in our area his phone is ringing constantly). Brilliant! So many opportunities if you only open your eyes.
