Why you might be missing the best prospects...

I was just listening to another 'guru' who says to look for SEO prospects on page 2 and beyond. This advice might help keep you poor.

The people on page 1 have likely paid to be there. Those in positions 4-10 (or whatever) likely aren't happy and want to do more.

I've gotten 2 large clients who were already on page 1 but not at the top. They were ready for a change when I approached them. Some of these clients also have second and third website developed that they need somebody to work on.

In a competitive market, page 1 clients get what you are selling and they want more of it - maybe from you and maybe not from you but they usually do want more.

    Getting your customers from Page 1 just might mean you have to step up your game to get them more business. It will challenge you to be sure. Folks on page 2 and beyoond don't know what they're missing. Page 1 businesses can taste the top. They take the Avis mantra: we try harder.

      Yeah and a lot of them seem educated now to know that the top spots get the lions share of the traffic ~ and they want that traffic.
