Google Places - 2 Owner Verified Listings

I would appreciate some advice.....

I have a (potential) client with 2 owner verified GP listings.

One listing has 5 good reviews and some pictures.

The other listing has no reviews or photos.

He has decent positions (A-C) for most of the keywords he's targeting. The only problem is that the listing showing up is the one without the photos and reviews.

So, do I....

A) Delete the "better" GP page that doesn't show up in results and loose the 5 reviews?

B) Delete the GP page that shows up in results, and hope that the "better" page will rank?

C) Leave both pages alone, upload photos to the page that ranks, and start generating reviews to that page?

I'm leaning towards C, but I would like some opinions.

Thanks in advance.

This is why GP sucks. Are they both owned by the same email address? If so, I would just leave them the hell alone for now and focus on prettying up the one that ranks for now. Since it takes like 30 minutes to make a profile 100% complete there's no reason NOT to do it and it would really help things in the short term.

Once you start getting reviews for the new places listing I might go in and delete the other one. Might. If it's only minimally broke, fix it the best you can and then leave it alone.

I'm having the exact same problem, except both of the listings are under the same email. That is weird. The thing is some of my edits go to 1 and some go to the other.

      Ha! No kidding.

I've got a client with 1 verified listing & 2 non-verified listings. We're trying to get the other 2 verified and deleted, but until then I've been optimizing the verified one. Got 5 Stars, reviews, and listed on all major keywords from D-F... the owner verified listing gained 2 new reviews this week... and THEN, all of the reviews and stars were moved to one of non-verified listing, and we lost the rankings on the main keywords...

      WTF Google.

The one is ranking higher the one reason to that can be there are citations built for that listing. If the owner has not built them there are many directories who add businesses to there database whenever they see a new one.
Correct your Name Address And Phone number (NAP) in every directory that has a live listing of your business.
You can find them by typing your business name + phone number in the google or business name and address make as much variations as you can
Focus on one listing change NAP as it is on the place there should not be a single "." additional in your place page and citations.
    Hope that helps.

I just completed services for a new Google Places client of mine that had THREE listings! I deleted the other two, but you have to be very careful in how you do it!
