Need Help With Pricing & Maintenance of Facebook & Twitter Pages

Im looking for some help and advice on selling and maintaining Facebook & Twitter pages for businesses. What do you charge a business to build a Facebook or Twitter Page? Do you charge them a monthly maintenance fee and make them sign a contract for so long?

Another major question i have is what if you build a customer a Facebook or Twitter page and they dont want you to maintain it, do you just basically hand the site over to them?

Also, whats some good ways to get Likes or Followers from local people who will actually use the business?

Thanks for all the help!

I assume when you say Facebook page, u mean Fanpage?

For fanpage - One time setup fee is around $500 for an iframe that includes fangate.
Then it totally depends on the additional feature the client wants. eg. contact form, lightbox gallery, survey forms... Each additional feat. will be another charge...

For twitter page - it's around $200? really depends on the design... but there are people willing to do it for $5 on fiverr.

If the client wants a monthly maintenance, probably $100 per monthly for an hour a day to maintain the fanpage and twitter. So it's around 30hours per month for $100.

*when I say maintaining the fanpage and twitter I mean-
    - keeping the fanpage wall clean
    - replying to fans' comments
    - replying tweets, RT tweets
    - following and unfollow people for twitter

    Hope that helps!

      100 bucks for 30 hours? 3,33$/hr??

I charge around 6-700$/month for facebook management, but then I also deliver a highquality service.

Yuppers, for a simple maintenance as ultimately my client will still update his walls and tweet accounts...

When it comes to Twitter, is their anything special you can really do or is it basically just create the account and tweet on it? Also, what do you do for the logins and passwords?

When it comes to Facebook, do you guys have any examples of Facebook Fanpages or any suggestions on building them?

I own a print marketing company and wanting to expand into social media marketing. Thanks for all the help.
