Need a partner for college website
I have a great opportunity to do a college site with a budget of 10k-25k.
It will be a great job for me and I plan to parlay this one into making college sites a niche of mine. I have attended the college for 2+ years and created a site for another organization within the college and am a computer science major there. I have met with the people in charge and they informed me of some of their needs.
Bidders will be required to give a presentation on what the bidder can provide and I will handle this part of it. I am well known by the college so I have that advantage but my portfolio and experience may not be enough to win the job, but that is where my partner/s come in.
What I want is a JV partner with a bit of clout,some good experience, something I can take to the table at the presentation. I do not want to walk into the presentation without some extra ammunition.
Sometime after January 1st it will be put back out to bid and I want you or your company there, not in person but as a partner. Perhaps between now and then we can work together a bit on some project, so we have some experience together.
I had a meeting with the person in charge and discussed what the college wanted and nothing she mentioned seemed extraordinary to me. She did say they wanted Intranet and I have never worked on one but it shouldn't be a problem.
