Local Business Themes - Wordpress

Hey guys,

So I'm thinking of ways I can help my fellow Warriors...

I'm going to design some wordpress themes for local businesses.

In fact I already have some done as I've been selling sites to the majority of local businesses in my area and have designed quite a few themes along the way!

Businesses seem to respond positively when approached... especially if you have a demo site already set up and ready to show them.

I look at it like, they need my help and I'm only too happy to oblige!

Some themes I'm thinking of designing are...

Doctors,Dentists,Attorneys Lawyers,Chiropractors
Physical Therapists,Wellness Centers,Counseling,
Realtors, and more.

Pretty simple themes but will look great and do the job for sure..

Maybe we could start throwing ideas around of what type of themes you would like to see?

Above are just my suggestions but I'd like to hear what you guys think...

    I'm using Suffusion free theme. Many possibilities, colors schemes (light and dark background), magazine template with static pages hybrid if you want for a blog without another install (they all want to blog, never have the time). a bazillion options in this theme.

      I was thinking something that already had a custom header to suit each niche.

      PSD file where you simply add the company's name and number. Very fast and very effective.

      Real simple templates that looks great and clients love them.

    Do NOT please please please do not put the name or field in the theme-related graphics. A dentist, weight loss center, and fitness palace can all use the same general theme as long as the field is not in the graphic.

      ^ I definitely agree. That's a dead give away and frankly an insult to us designers!

      Consider doing a mobile cms solution, as well. I'm launching a business this week of which prospects could be interested. I'm launching with one but I already see its limitations.

      Sounds, like a great idea. I've also been thinking of this idea and will be doing the same once I get some current clients. Who can end up paying for the production costs.
