That is why I asked. From looking at the WSO section it looks like Googles Places scout only looks at Google Places for information. What I am looking for is just the opposite. I want to know traditional websites that do not have a Google Places account. Is that what your does Rus?

It's rather hard to know exactly if any particular web site does or doesn't have a Google Places listing.

Google tends to scrape business data and sometimes creates unverified listings and many business owner have no clue Google created a listing for them.

The idea behind GPScraper was to save me tons of research time in finding the best potential clients. Having to switch back and forth between places results and organic results was crazy. GPscraper pulls both into a grid and displays them side by side based on the keyword phrase you searched on.

I've found that some of the best prospects were the businesses that already had a verified listing but its incomplete and poorly optimized. They at least, "get it" to some degree and that's why they verified their listing.

I like Sniper Bot Pro.
You can find it in the WSO section or look up KenMichaels (sp?)

It will show you who has verified their GP and who hasn't.
You can click a button and be taken to their GP page.
It also does the same thing with Bing.
As well as shows you who is already spending money on advertising in the phone book, and how much.
Then you can email them right from within the software.

Plus, a ton more. I have had 3 different scrapers for GP before this one.
They have all been deleted and this is the only one I use now.

Power Leads Pro Also tells you if listings are verified and not, and unlike the other software products mentioned..ITS NOT LIMITED to Google places..

Google places can only return a limit of up to 130ish results per keyword/location. This means if you are looking for a dentists in Miami. You will cap out at 130ish results with the other programs..Leaving a TON of businesses NOT FOUND.

This is why Power leads pro x has up to 22 plugins, including, Yellowpages, Yellowbook, Yelp, Yahoo Local, Super Pages, Manta.. As these plugins GET EM ALL.

I been looking long and hard at a few different products. Places scout is WAY to limited..If I want leads, why limit myself to Google Places only? Besides you can only get 100 listings per search, in turn, leaving the other 3000 dentists in a city not found all together with Places Scout. Places scout seems like a decent tool to get some additional data, but not for lead generation. I am currently checking out Mappi and Power Leads Pro X and another one I recently just came accross..
