How effective is Google's Webmasters tool?

Hello dears,

I have been thinking of using Google's webmasters tool for my websites. However, to verify as site owner I need to download an html & upload to my site.
Wanted to know if adding the html has any short-term or long term drawbacks.
Please share your experience.

    Google Webmaster Tools is really Great Tool for the webmaster and for site owners.

    You no need to download HTML File or anything else. There are other options for that, Check that one also .

    Chck on the other bulleted points. There you can find a one line code, which you can paste in your html and then its over.

    Or else. There are other simple options click on alternate accounts, where you can link the webmaster account with your Google Analytics ACcount.

    So What i prefer is Create a Google Analytics Account and Link it with the Webmaster Account. That would be a great option .

    Google Webmaster is reallly a great tool, Through that you can manually ask the google bot to fetch your required URL , Increasing the Crawl Rate.

    Setting Geo-Targeting Location For your websites, Keyword relevance, Keyword Search Drops , Differences. Number Of Indexed Url . Url Blocking
