Multiple Businesses - Payable To Whom?

2 replies
I have my main Offline Marketing business. Ex. PaulsWebDesign.com

What if I plan on having multiple different websites from which I want to receive payment.

For example: I want to create a CITY Directory/Guide Site such as;

DallasDirectoryGuide.com.

Should I just have them pay me through PaulsWebDesign? Or should I create a separate DBA account for the Guide account?

I find this very hard to do if you want to run multiple websites.

OR (ECOMMERCE Websites)

What if I have multiple e-commerce sites? PaintballEquip.com and/or 247Perfumes.com.

Should they all be different DBA accounts and Bank Accounts?

I would think people who purchase products/services would prefer to see the "PAULSWEBDESIGN.COM" etc or w/e they buy from on their CC statements?

Not something unknown. Like buying from PaintballEquip.com and on your CC it would show up as PAULSWEBDESIGN.COM.

Please let me know. I'm working on getting my business started and getting my business license but I'm lost for ideas.

My only idea would be to make a parent company such as PaulsMediaSites.com and every other website is part of it. All businesses pay out to PaulsMediaSites.com.

    Take payment via one company, you're corporate headquarters. On your extra sites just put a link at the bottom PaulsWebDesign LLC or INC or whatever.
