OFFLINE MARKETING

Thanks for all the help in advance,

I have a friend that just got a job as a small business banker and he said that he will offer my services to some of his clients. I will pay him a commission for each sale. This got me thinking if they are other types of businesses a web designer could partner with like I have. Does any have examples or ideas?

Accountants can be good to get referrals/partner with. They usually have a high trust value for clients.

lawyers, local officials (town council, etc.), your local chamber of commerce (in USA) is a great place to get leads, any local business owners who provide services to many other local business owners - especially if they are parents and even more useful if they are also coaches or have kids in sports or town activities (if they like you or you've done work for them that's brought them more business, you may not even have to pay them a commission).

Hello,
Well I think that one needs to understand and find for that one thing that you need that would make you happy. For few it is construction or for some it is designing. For some it is management for some it is painting.
So go choose what you like and enjoy.

Consider partnering with a business copywriter, who can help you with the content for these different sites. Have a look in the stickies in the copywriting forum.
