Needed a bit of advice on SMS for auto dealers, just a bit stuck!

Hello fellow warriors,
I am going to start approaching auto dealers for sms marketing. I know I have read about putting a keyword on every vehicle that would then go to
the sales man.

So if a car lot has over 100 cars I am puzzled as to the huge cost of the keywords at say $4.00 per keyword?

Does any one know of a good 'fit' for auto dealers and sms marketing??

Thank you so much .

Live your best day!!!

Karen.

Karen, working on the same thing, but slightly different:

Adding to their current print advertisement "text stocknumber to shortcode for more information!"

My platform will send and SMS and e-mail to whomever they want for the very hot lead.

I have yet to approach a car dealership, but my thoughts are:

Charge a nice monthly cost, as 1 sale would cover that monthly cost

    or

    Charge per lead

    or

    Work for a commission

The hardest to track seems to be the last option.

My SMS platform does not charge me for a keyword, so I can set up unlimited keywords for the client (I am just charged $4 for the client).

I guess it would depend on your SMS set up, there is a thread on here about how to do SMS for free :-) it is active right now on this forum, so it should be near the top.

    *EDIT*

You can find that thread here
