Potential Client ask me to call her, what should i say ?

Several months ago, i send messages to my connection in linkedin about social media marketing and i added my website there as a reference. There are a lot of people of my connection just say thanks for that. But, yesterday one of my connections just asked me to call her tomorrow. what should i say to her ? this is the first time i would make a cold calling or something like that. I'm not really good on talking in English. I live outside of the US. How can i make a phone call? via skype? is there any free phone call website or software out there ? thanks folks

    skype, prepaid phone card...

Explain your situation, that you're outside of the US and that English isn't your first language. Then ask some questions:

"What is it that made you want to speak with me?"

"How do you think my expertise can help you?"

Get her to tell you what she wants and why.

She may just want a free education from you. Try not to give too much away.

Once you have agreed on the scope of a project, assuming there is one, then you can figure out whether you can fulfill it and at what price.

I deal with a few people who do not speak english as well as they write. I have no problem working with them via skype chat rather than voice chat. It's easier for them to express themselves and from what I can tell it's easier for me as well to understand what they are saying.

You seem to have a good grasp on the written word, perhaps you can explain that to her and arrange to skype.

Skype works well as a low cost caller depending where you are calling from.
Now as to the call. This lady has asked you to call her. She's is basically qualifying herself in to you. So I'd just call her and have a formal but friendly chat. If you're English isn't great I'd just explain that to her. After chatting about her I'd move on to chatting about her company (you should have all the info on her linkedin profile). I usually say something like it sounds like an exciting business you run/are involved in. They'll usually tell you why it's exciting or not. You can also chat about how they're expanded or sympathise about them having to make cuts. This leads up to the question 'how can you help them/their business?'. They'll give you the answer and you've got a high chance to close the deal.
    Hope that helped?

Well, if she asked you to call, you might as well.

What's the worst case scenario? You don't work together.. which is where you're at now anyways.

I'd say do it, and use some of the questions from above!

If she cares about your English, she's not someone you want to work with in the first place.

    Good luck!

As what people have already said, try to use skype. That nervous feeling that you feel is only natural. There are a lot of great marketers out there that started out this way but it was not an option for them to give it up.

As what Yoda have said in a Star Wars movie, "Do or do not, there is no try" In my opinion, try to go out on a limb here. Just give it your best shot and state that you're living outside of the US but you can still provide her the service that she is looking for.

    Good luck!
