Offline Marketing Discussions

I've been around here for a while (a few years longer than my join date), and I have to say, the section that I like the most always tends to change. At first it was the CPA section, then it moved onto the Main Discussion, and then it was SEO. I did this for a while, but never had a reason why it was the best... It always just turned out to be the thing that I was interested in at the moment... It is now the Offline Marketing forums, but not only because that's what I'm interested in now.

I want to give thanks to the main posters of the Offline Marketing section, I could name names, but I feel like I would forget a few... You know who you are. This section of the forum provides THE MOST value for FREE. That's hard to find now-a-days online. Especially the warrior forum, most see it as a place to come and advertise and suck people in, give half of the solution and try to sell you the other half, etc. There still is A LOT of that around here. I can always appreciate those that actually provide value to the forums.

I think I speak for the majority when I say that eventually people will get tired of being ripped off and being seen as just another customer. ATTENTION: YOUR BUYERS ARE PEOPLE TOO!

To those of you that actually provide value to the forum, consistently, people notice, and when they get to the point where they're tired of being ripped off, they'll remember you and you will have a loyal customer for a very long time. So thank you, People like that make this forum a better place.

Not sure if this is against the rules to make a post like this in the Offline Marketing Discussions section of the Warrior Forum. If it is, simply delete it. I apologize.

Good stuff... Surprised no one responded to this yet. I think this is definitely what sets this part of the forum off from the rest. I almost exclusively visit this section now, sometimes I'll go to the main forum, sometimes SEO, sometimes web design, but really this is my main area.

I think a lot more people are more generous and likely to help over here. Less competition, we're all basically in the same niche and have real business models. Great forum for learning and getting accountability, and inspiration.

OMG !!!! There are other sections than this on the WF? lol.
Just kidding, but SO agree with you.

This section never gets old. It's an oasis in an otherwise scary economy.

Thank you to all that make it a very welcoming place to learn, grow and earn.

Good post, and definitely could use more people that follow the good parts of the trend you're describing. I own and run an offline business and I pick up stuff from this forum every day, even if it isn't directly in a post, a lot of times the posts spawn ideas for our business.

Hopefully others take notice and agree.

The less competition thing is the big one. There's gotta be 10 IMers for every Offliner... less people means less sharks trying to take advantage of the market.

I agree..(tried to hit the *thanks* button but it wouldn't let me)

This part of the forum is my favorite too. I visit this section more than the War Room. Anyone can read a few threads in this section and start their own offline business without spending a dime!

I agree. I have been involved in online marketing in various ways for many years, but only recently joined WF. I have learned more in this section than probably all of the others combined. It's clean, straight to the point advice and not full of noise that you have to spend hours sifting through. Thanks to everyone who has contributed and look forward to keep learning and sharing.

I wanted to put in my 2 cents.

Out of all the subforums on WF, this one is my favorite too. I manage to read this forum several times a week. I usually don't post too much here, but I get a lot of it.

So let me add my thanks to everyone who post here and helps me grow my own offline business.

I spend about 80% of my time on WF in this subforum...19% in the Copywriting subforum...and 1% in the others. The main forum seems so full of "noise" and fluff that even though it gets more traffic, it just doesn't seem to be an effective place to help people.

With the Search tool and a brain, you can learn a great deal about how to set up, market, sell and Make Real Money with your Offline business. The info in here is better than a business degree (since I have one and can tell you after 15 years of real-world experience that it never helped me sell anything, just manage people and processes), if you stick with it.

I'm happy to see that I'm not the only person that feels this way about this section of the Forum. I definitely didn't expect to get this many responses from warriors that feel the same way.

@Kaniganj - Yeah, going through the first 3 pages of threads in this section you'll find a lot more value than going through 20 in the main discussion forum. I don't find it worth it to waste all that time going through all of the posts there either.

I have to agree with everyone else. To me, this is the best, and most helpful, section of the forum. Made the transition to offline at the end of last year and was amazed at the talent and help that is part of this section.

    Great bunch of people here.

The other section I always check into is the Mobile Marketing one. Same group of people, with more great stuff.

    Thanks,

    John
