JV Broker Credentials

Hello All, I want to know as a complete newbie in the business/marketing world...and only with the knowledge of reading many ebooks and a vast amount of information...how can I approach businesses to do a joint venture deal as a broker with only other people's proven works as my basis? In other words how do I get the deal going with no credentials?

Any advice would truly be appreciated! Thanks

Although it's understandable that people are hesitant to share the details of their proposition for many reasons, it makes giving advice nearly impossible.

Based on your post, all I can gather about your skill set is that you are an avid reader!

I'm not trying to be rude, really! However, in the interest of lending a hand to a fellow Warrior, perhaps you can add some information that would give people an opportunity to offer some advice.

For example, what sort of JV do you feel you have adequate knowledge about to pursue? Is it really a JV you're talking about, or do you just want to find a product or service to market?

Well I'm interested in offline JV's. As in leveraging any underutilized assets that businesses have. I have many ideas as far as joint venture possibilities with physical stores. I am 17 years old and still in high school, with no real experience, my question is what would I need as far as credentials or knowledge to be fully adequate for these type of deals?

      Thanks!

    Hey OmariThompson23

I have good and bad news for you. The good news is you don't need any credentials... none whatsoever. The bad news is that you have to know the right people and they have to have trust in you. If you are just starting out and don't know anyone it will take you some time to build your reputation.

I would simply start getting to know people, doing lots of networking events in the real world. From doing quite a lot of JV's myself i can tell you that this game is ALL about trust and knowing the right people. When you have identified the right people, think of ways you can benefit them. The more value you can provide for them the more they will trust you.

It can take some time to build trust with the right people but when you have it... its so worth all the effort.

Good luck with everything - I hope you make it huge.

PS: If you get a relationship with a good list owner lets talk. I have many training programs for entrepreneurs/marketers. So now you have already half of what you need to do a jv deal :0)
